5 mins on treadmill @ speed = 3.8 to 5.1 (Cool-down)
* Resulted in 220 calories burned and about 3.5 km brisk walked.
I am using the fatburn setting for the treadmill for once. I am maintaining my heart rate at about 140 beat per minute. However, I am definitely going to pull another gym session tomorrow. This daily routine is consuming lotsa of my time and I hope to see results by May 2009.

Weekend Non Gym Session 01/02/2009
Weekend Non Gym Session 01/02/2009
I woke up early today about 9:00 am. I had a cup of tea with fresh milk, one serving of protein shake and one piece of curry puff bought from Delifrance the night before. I was still enjoying the 24inch LCD monitor that I have purchased the night before. I bought the Samsung T240 to replace my Samsung 19 inch LCD monitor.
The cost of the Samsung T240 is RM1,250. This unit was obtained from Compuzone located in Low Yat Plaza. Here are some photos of that LCD monitor:
1. The box of Samsung T240

2. The previous setup with the 19inch Samsung LCD monitor.

* Please note that this is the Before picture.
3. The new setup with the Samsung T240.

* Please note that this is the After picture.
4. Alternate shot with flash on.

5. Sideview of Samsung T240

6. Alternate sideview of Samsung T240

Watching movies and shows on a Samsung T240 feels like watching it on a regular widescreen LCD TV. In addition, playing games become very immersive and atmospheric. I recommend anybody to purchase this LCD monitor to enjoy their entertainment needs.
Nonetheless, I had to walk Little Foot that morning. It was a quick and short walk as we only walked the park for a single round before heading home. Little Foot was intimidated by a German Sherperd.
The stats for the short walk today is as follows:
Sunday, 01/02/2009 Extra light cardio session
5 mins walking Little Foot around the park once
* Resulted in 40 calories burned and about 0.6 km walked(estimated)
I will be starting my new gym routine tomorrow which will result in 6 weight exercises ie. 3 Supersets and 30 mins of cardiovascular exercise per day in Celebrity Fitness located in 1 Utama. I am hopeful to see significant improvements before my birthday this year.

Post Chinese New Year Jogoya Dinner 28/01/2009
Post Chinese New Year Jogoya Dinner 28/01/2009
I took a day off from work today to celebrate the Post Chinese New Year dinner with my family. This time we had dinner in Jogoya restaurant located in the Starhill building or better known as the Starhill gallery.
There were many customers that night. Fortunately, my sister has booked in advance for our dinner. Jogoya is a Japanese buffet style restaurant whereby you can eat as much as possible within the time that you are there. There were also many types of dishes for us to choose from. Ranging from sushi all the way to different types of desserts.
Naturally, I brought my digital camera and started snapping photos of the food and of course my family members as well. Here are some photos of the buffet dinner:
1. Jogoya restaurant's signboard, unique presentation I reckon.

2. Lotsa vegetables and raw fishes, have to order if you want any.

3. Various deep fried food in Jogoya.

* I skipped this entirely as I don't really want to end up working my butt off to burn the extra fat gain from consuming these.
4. Uncooked fish, also this required to be order first as they will cooked it on the spot.

5. Small coconuts, nice to drink but the portion was far too small for my liking.

6. All types of fruits.

* Obviously I didn't start my dinner with this.
7. Seafood platter serving style.

8. Various shellfish, clams, oysters and so on.

* I don't eat any of these at all due to being allergic to them.
9. Assorted salads for people who likes their salad raw.

10. So many types of sushi, I didn't really have many of these though.

11. Eggs and vegetables sushi style, all served in small little bowls.

12. Sliced raw fishes like butterfish, tuna and salmon.

After having so much cooked and uncooked food, I had to try some of the dessert that was served in Jogoya. There were far too many types of Mochi ("Muachi", term used for gluten rice with peanuts and artificial flavoring) for me to choose from and also all the different types of cakes. I present herewith the photos of the desserts mentioned above:
1. Various Mochi Japanese style, I choose the chocolate with strawberry one I think.

2. Cakes and Jellies in small plates and bowls.

3. Redbean pancake Japanese style.

4. Mum and Dad after the dinner.

5. Me feeling too full after the hearty dinner.

Me and my sister decided to treat my parents for this meal. The cost for each person to go into Jogoya is slightly above RM100. However, I think with the diversified food served in Jogoya, there were room for improvements. I personally feel that too much choices for food somewhat spoilt my appetite. Nonetheless, it was an enjoyable experience to have after Chinese New Year.
