I finished work late today about 7:30pm, I got into the gym around 7:45pm. Due to the fact that I didn't have enough time to do a full blast gym session, I decided to go ahead with a full cardiovascular session today.

Total time spent in gym = 1 hour 15 mins

My workout routine as follows:

30 mins on the treadmill @ speed = 8.5kmph and gradient = 0
20 mins on the treadmill @ speed = 8.0kmph and gradient = 0
15 mins on the treadmill @ speed = 6.0kmph and gradient = 0 for cool-down
* Resulted in 8.30km jogged and around 670 calories burned.

I am planning to hit the gym tomorrow yet again. Hopefully, I will still have enough strength and stamina for weights tomorrow.

I took a day off today as I had to do something personal during the day. Upon finishing my ordeal, I decided I had to hit the gym today no matter what. I got into the gym around 7:45pm and got out of the gym around 9:00pm

Total time spent in the gym = 1 hour 15 mins.

My workout routine as follows:

Barbell bicep curls:
2x10 @ 12.5kg for warm-up and cool-down
2x10 @ 22.5kg
1x10 @ 27.5kg

Dumbbell triceps overhead extension:
2x10 @ 20.45kg for warm-up and cool-down
1x10 @ 25kg
2x10 @ 29.54kg

Skullcrushers:
2x10 @ 22.5kg for warm-up and cool-down
2x10 @ 27.5kg
1x10 @ 32.5kg

Dual grip pulley - fixed weight:
2x10 @ 26kg
1x10 @ 40kg
1x10 @ 47kg
1x10 @ 50kg

Dumbbell bicep curls:
2 (2x10) @ 9.09kg per arm, total = 18.18kg for warm-up and cool-down

Triceps pull-down (rope) - fixed weight:

* Resulted in 4.10km brisked walked , around 300 calories burned.

Today was a good day, I managed to complete my personal ordeal and hit the gym thereafter. I was hoping to hit the gym yesterday or the day before. Fortunately, I managed to pull one today. I will definitely endeavor to hit the gym yet again during the weekend.

I got off work around 6:30 pm today which was very quite alright. I managed to do a full blast gym session today, both cardiovascular and weights training. I got into the gym around 6:45 pm and got off the gym around 8:15pm.

My workout routine as follows:

Flat barbell benchpress:
2x10 @ 20kg for warm-up and cool-down
1x10 @ 50kg
2x10 @ 60kg

Dumbbell pullover:
2x10 @ 20.45kg for warm-up and cool-down
1x10 @ 25kg
2x10 @ 27.27kg

Lat pull-down - fixed weight:
2x10 @ 30kg
1x10 @ 45kg
2x10 @ 50kg

Inclined barbell benchpress:
2x10 @ 20kg for warm-up and cool-down
1x10 @ 40kg
2x10 @ 50kg

Leg curls -fixed weight:
2x10 @ 26kg
1x10 @ 35kg
1x10 @ 45kg
1x10 @ 55kg

Dumbbells chest fliers:
2x10 @ 10.22kg per arm, total = 20.44kg for warm-up and cool-down
3x10 @ 12.5kg per arm, total= 25kg

15 mins on the treadmill @ speed = 8kmph and gradient = 0%
20 mins on the treadmill @ speed = 6kmph and gradient = 0% for cool-down
* Resulted in 3.99km brisked walked , around 280 calories burned.

I felt great after doing weights today. Although I have the tendency to treat weights as if it were cardiovascular training, by giving myself very little time to rest in between sets and exercise. I hope to pull another gym session tomorrow or at least on Wednesday.

I was unable to do a full-blown weights and cardiovascular session due to the fact I am just recovering from flu. I got off work on time around 6:00 pm. Subsequently, I got into the gym around 6:15pm and got off the gym around 7:30 pm.

Total time spent in gym = 1 hour 15 mins

30 mins on the treadmill @ speed = 8.5kmph and gradient = 0
30 mins on the treadmill @ speed = 8.0kmph and gradient = 0
5 mins on the treadmill @ speed = 6.0kmph and gradient = 0 for cool-down
* Resulted in 8.90km jogged and around 780 calories burned.

I planned to hit the gym again this weekend for both weights training and cardiovascular sessions. It's good to be back doing weights again, I am truly excited to test my strength all over again.

I woke up early today and was having a bad flu since the day before. I went to the doctor to obtain a medical certificate. As such, I was therefore on medical leave today. After visiting the doctor, I decided to walk "Little Foot" at the park to clear my head.

Wednesday, 14/07/2010, light cardio session
45 mins walking with Little Foot around the park for 6 times
* Resulted in 120 calories burned and about 3.6km walked and jogged(estimated)

I hope to recover from my flu as soon as possible. I have to start my weights training regime as soon as possible. It has been almost 2 months since my last proper weights training routine.

Also, I have recently completed Borderlands and its downloadable contents ("DLCs"), which I purchased quite awhile ago . Here is a short review of the game. The game length was quite long as I have spent almost 50 hours playing thru the vanilla game as well as the DLCs.

*I played this game using a keyboard and mouse combo as intended for First Person Shooters ("FPS")

I completed the vanilla game and its DLCs within 47 hours of casual playing. This is a First Person Shooter which incorporates looting and grinding of Diablo-like games. From my point of view, the DLCs are definitely worth the cost and enhanced the gameplay of Borderlands.

Pros:
1. Funny and light-hearted story.
2. Awesome graphics, great sound effects and excellent voice over.
3. There is quite a bit of replayability in this game since you would want to achieve different endings
4. The game length decent around 50 hours for both the game and its DLCs.
5. One of the best Co-op game to play with your friends

Cons:
1. It takes a lot of grinding to get good loot and to be at higher level
2. Ending is crap
3. Graphic wise could use some AA
4. Gets boring playing alone

My verdict for this game is 8.5 out of 10. I definitely would recommend anybody who is a fan of the FPS as well as Diablo. This is definitely an entertaining game to play with your friends. While it is not what everything one could hope for in a FPS, it was a decent mixed of two very different genres (ie. FPS and action RPG).

I woke up around 8 am today which is really early for a Sunday. Since I had nothing better to do and morning cardiovascular session sounded like a great idea, I took Little Foot for a walk in the morning. Although I am significantly tired from my previous gym session on Friday, I buckled up and took Little Foot for a walk.

Due to my busy schedule these days, I do not have sufficient time to put photos / screenshots or game reviews on my blog. However, I do hope that I can find time to hit the gym more frequently. Preferably, thrice per week at the minimum.

It has been more than a month since my last weight session. I estimated that I have lost around 20% of my full strength. I hope to regain full strength as soon as possible. As such, I might be pulling another gym session this Sunday.

I needed a break today, so I decided to have a day off myself. It has been several months since my last annual leave. Due to the fact, I only had one gym session last week, I decided that I shall pull one gym session today.

I got into the gym around 4pm and got of the gym around 5:30pm.

Total time spent in the gym = 1 hour 30 mins.

My workout routine as follows:

30 mins on the treadmill @ speed = 8.5kmph and gradient = 0
30 mins on the treadmill @ speed = 8.0kmph and gradient = 0
5 mins on the treadmill @ speed = 6.0kmph and gradient = 0 for cool-down
* Resulted in 8.88km jogged and around 775 calories burned.

I will probably pull another gym session tomorrow as I have been slacking in my weight training sessions. It 's been almost two months since my last weight training sessions and I am really eager to do one as soon as possible.
