Work Day Gym Session 29/06/2010

Fantastic, it has been one week since my last gym session. Not only that, I totally skipped the Standard Chartered marathon thanks to work. As such, I decided that today I gotta do some jogs as I am really stressed and ticked off due to my work.

I got into the gym around 8pm and got of the gym around 9:20pm.

Total time spent in the gym = 1 hour 20 mins.

My workout routine as follows:

30 mins on the treadmill @ speed = 8.5kmph and gradient = 0
30 mins on the treadmill @ speed = 8.0kmph and gradient = 0
5 mins on the treadmill @ speed = 6.0kmph and gradient = 0 for cool-down
* Resulted in 8.78km jogged and around 768 calories burned.

I really need to a weight session soon as I am getting really rusty at my weight training regime. I need to regain my loss strength and maintain my fitness.

Again, I was unable to do a full-blown weights and cardiovascular session due to time constraint. I got off work on time around 7:00 pm. Subsequently, I got into the gym around 7:15pm and got off the gym around 8:30 pm.

Total time spent in gym = 1 hour 15 mins

30 mins on the treadmill @ speed = 8.5kmph and gradient = 0
30 mins on the treadmill @ speed = 8.0kmph and gradient = 0
5 mins on the treadmill @ speed = 6.0kmph and gradient = 0 for cool-down
* Resulted in 8.80km jogged and around 775 calories burned.

At the moment, I am totally not prepared for the Standard Chartered Marathon this Sunday. Thanks to working 6-7 days a week, I am now not only physically weak, I am also mentally weaker than usual.

I was unable to hit the gym on Friday due to lack of transportation. As such, I brought Little Foot for a jog at the park located near my home for about 45 minutes or so. I started jogging around 7:45pm and complete the entire ordeal by 8:30 pm.

Here the stats for the jog:

Friday, 19/06/2010, medium cardio session
40 mins brisk-walking and jogging around the park for 9 times
* Resulted in 300 calories burned and about 5.4km walked and jogged(estimated)

It has been quite awhile since my last weights training, I have yet to allocate any time for my weight sessions as I have been heavily bogged down with work. I hope to pull perhaps more weight sessions after the Standard Chartered Marathon which will be held on the 27 June 2010.

I got off work later than usual around 7:30 pm. Although I was reluctant to hit the gym, I pulled myself together got into the gym around 6:45pm and got off the gym around 9:00 pm.

Total time spent in the gym = 1 hour 30 mins.

25 mins on the treadmill @ speed = 8.5kmph and gradient = 0
35 mins on the treadmill @ speed = 8.0kmph and gradient = 0
5 mins on the treadmill @ speed = 5.2 to 6.0kmph and gradient = 0 for cool-down
* Resulted in 8.78km jogged and around 788 calories burned.

This time I was far too tired to do a combined session. Even when I was jogging I was falling asleep, hopefully I'll find more time this week to do combined session to make up for lack of weights training for the past two weeks.

* Resulted in 400 calories burned and about 6.6km walked and jogged(estimated)

Similarly, I did not purchase nor complete any games lately due to my hectic working life these days. I hope my situation will improve and will give me more leisure time in doing what I like that is to exercise frequently and occasionally playing some games on my PC.

I was unable to bring Little Foot for a walk in the morning. So instead, I took him for a jog in the evening. Although I am significantly tired from my previous gym session on Friday, I buckled up and took Little Foot for a walk.

35 mins walking and jogging with Little Foot around the park for 6 times
* Resulted in 200 calories burned and about 3.6km walked and jogged(estimated)

Unfortunately, I did not manage to finish any games lately nor have I bought any new gadgets this week. As such there will be no screenshots or photos of any underlying purchases.

5 mins on the treadmill @ speed = 4.4 to 6.0kmph and gradient = 0 for cool-down
* Resulted in 8.45km jogged and around 740 calories burned.

This time I was far too tired to do a combined session. Even when I was jogging I was falling asleep, hopefully I'll find time this weekend to do another weights session to make up for lack of weights training this week.

I got off work later than everyone at work today ie. around 6:50 pm. Subsequently, I got into the gym around 7:00pm and got off the gym around 8:30 pm.

Total time spent in the gym = 1 hour 30 mins.

60 mins on the treadmill @ speed = 8.0kmph and gradient = 0
5 mins on the treadmill @ speed = 5.2 to 7.2kmph and gradient = 0 for cool-down
* Resulted in 8.59km jogged and around 766 calories burned.

Due to time constraint, I could not do my usual weights and cardiovascular session today. As such I decided to go with full blast on cardio.
