Annual Leave Non Gym Session 02/02/2011

I woke up fairly early today around 8:30 am after being disturb by my dog, Little Foot. I had a late night before playing PC games.

I decided to bring him to the park around 10:00 am and the entire walk took around 40 minutes.

Here are the stats of the said walk:

Wednesday, 02/02/2011, medium cardio session
(morning)
40 mins walking and jogging with Little Foot around the park for 6 times
* Resulted in 250 calories burned and about 3.60km walked and jogged(estimated)

I am going to travel back to my hometown Muar, Johor tomorrow. I look forward in meeting my grandmother and cousins.

Annual Leave Non Gym Session 31/01/2011

I was on leave today. I woke up fairly late today, about 10 am. As such, I decided to walk my dog early in the evening prior to having dinner today.

The stats of the walk is as follows:

Monday, 31/01/2011, medium cardio session (evening)
60 mins walking and jogging with Little Foot around the park for 12 times
* Resulted in 350 calories burned and about 7.2km walked and jogged(estimated)

I tried to cause my dog to become too tired from such walks. Unfortunately, I was the one who suffered from this. I doubt I'll be able to pull any gym sessions this week as I will be quite busy.

Annual Leave Non Gym Session 11/01/2011

I was on leave today. I had to wake up around 3:00 am and to provide transportation for my parents to the airport. Upon returning from the airport, I was too tired and I crashed straight to bed. As such, I didn't not walk my dog early in the morning.

However, prior to having dinner today. I decided to give Little Foot a walk. The stats of the walk is as follows:

Tuesday, 11/01/2011, light cardio session (evening)
20 mins walking and jogging with Little Foot around the park for 5 times
* Resulted in 120 calories burned and about 3.0km walked and jogged(estimated)

It started raining heavily within 20 mins of my walk. I was hoping to walk him for at least an hour . Either way, I hope to pull two gym sessions this week.

Annual Leave Non Gym Session 17/02/2010 to 18/02/2010

Annual Leave Non Gym Session 17/02/2010 to 18/02/2010

I was unable sleep longer than 8 hours during my Chinese New Year holiday. I woke up around 8 am for those two days. Due to the fact that I woke up so early, I decided to bring Little Foot for a walk for those two days.

Here are the stats for the said walks:

Wednesday, 17/02/2010, light cardio session
45 mins walking Little Foot around the part for 6 times
* Resulted in 150 calories burned and about 3.6km walked(estimated)

Thursday, 18/02/2010, light cardio session
45 mins walking Little Foot around the part for 6 times
* Resulted in 150 calories burned and about 3.6km walked(estimated)

On Thursday dated 18/02/2010, I followed my cousin to the batting range in 1Utama for some baseballs and softballs practice. The cost for 10 balls were RM5 and the cost for playing 30 minutes were RM40. We opt for 20 balls first and then a shared 30 minutes non stop session.

Here are the stats for that exercise:

Thursday, 18/02/2010, medium cardio session
5 mins hitting baseballs with a baseball bat
20 mins hitting softballs with a softball bat

Towards the end of the ordeal my body was very tired. However, I felt a lot better in terms of releasing stress when hitting those balls and I am looking forward for another session to participate in such event sometime in the future.

Also, I have recently completed Bioshock 2 which I purchased from Steam during its preordered sale . Here is a short review of the game. The game length was at as short as the first one which is around 10 hours or so. Fortunately, this game was just as good as the first one. Good voice acting, great visuals and gave quite a lot of freedom to the player how to tackle a situation.

Here are some screenshots of the game:

*Similar to Bioshock 1, I have used the usual keyboard and mouse combo for this first person shooter game as intended.

Pros:
1. Very engaging story, well written from the beginning to the end, there was an expected but pleasant plot twist.
2. Great graphics, great sound effects and excellent voice over.
3. Using plasmids and weapons for fights simultaneously enhance the experience in fights compared to Bioshock 1.

Cons:
1. Sometimes, I won't know what to do next
2. Multiplayer is very iffy, don't have enough people to play online.
3. The game length was far too short around 8-9 hours only.

My verdict for this game is 9.0 out of 10. I definitely would recommend anybody who is a fan of First Person Shooter with an excellent story. This is one of the rare sequel to FPS games that is as good as the first one in terms of story and presentation.

Annual Leave Non Gym Session 31/12/2009 and 2010 1st January Countdown

Annual Leave Non Gym Session 31/12/2009

Today, I woke up around 8:30 am. I was not looking forward to bring Little Foot for a walk. The weather was slightly hotter than usual around 10:30 am.

Thursday, 31/12/2009, light cardio session
20 mins walking Little Foot around the part for 4 times
* Resulted in 100 calories burned and about 2.4km walked(estimated)

I had to rush out immediately after walking Little Foot as me and my friend were going to 1Utama to watch Avatar. Unfortunately, Avatar was fully booked and we ended up watching Sherlock Holmes. I was pleasantly surprised as the I did not expect that movie to be good.

2010 1st January Countdown 31/12/2009

Around 7:30 pm, I headed to Meng Wai's house in SS3 for a barbecue party in conjunction with the celebration of the beginning of the year 2010. There plenty of food and alcohol to go around. Also, we ended up celebrating Sheau Yih's birthday as well.

Here are some photos of that night:

Annual Leave Non-Gym Session 29/12/2009

Annual Leave Non-Gym Session 29/12/2009

I woke up quite early today around 8 am. I was looking forward to bring Little Foot for a walk. The weather was pretty alright around 9:30 am. As such, walking Little Foot was quite pleasant indeed.

Here are the stats of the walk:

Tuesday, 29/12/2009, Light cardio session
20 mins walking Little Foot around the part for 4 times
* Resulted in 100 calories burned and about 2.4km walked(estimated)

Recently, I have purchased Cyberclean from a PC shop in 1Utama. I have tried using it but it was not as good as advertised. In fact, I was pretty disappointed with it. This item cost around RM27. Here are some photos of Cyberclean:

I probably will hit the gym tomorrow as I need to try to go to gym as frequently as possible due to my time off from work. Tomorrow's gym session will be focus on my legs, ie. legs day. I hate legs day.

Annual Leave Non Gym Session 04/05/2009

Annual Leave Non Gym Session 04/05/2009

I woke up early today and decided to give "Little Foot" a walk around the park for twice. Whilst I did plan to walk him during the evening as well, that did not materialize as I had to pick up my new pair of spectacles which I bought few days back.

Here are the stats for Monday, 04/05/2009:

Monday, 04/05/2009, Morning cardio session
15 mins walking Little Foot around the part for 2 times
* Resulted in 80 calories burned and about 1.2km walked(estimated)

Recently, I have bought a game and a 1.5TB hard disk for my current gaming rig. I have taken the photo of the game and not the hard disk.

1. Company of Heroes Tales of Valor
Photobucket
* Bought from Gamer's Corner in 1Utama for RM99.

2. 1.5TB Seagate hard disk bought from Kin Kin of Low Yat for RM477.
*Unfortunately, I was too excited to fix the hard disk up. I totally forgot to take a photo of it.

Currently, my gaming PC has about 2.5 TB worth of hard disk space. This would be really helpful if I were to go somewhere else to stay for a long run.
